Domaine Zuria, established in 2010 by Dominique Zuria, is dedicated to restoring viticulture in Bonifacio, Corsica, after the devastation of phylloxera. Together with Yves Canarelli, Nadine and Christian embarked on a mission to research local terroirs and native grape varieties. Their efforts culminated in their first vintage in 2016. Spread across 13 hectares, the estate’s vineyards are situated in diverse parcels, including Stintinu, Musella, Spinella, and Santa Giulia, offering a unique array of terroirs. The estate is currently undergoing biodynamic conversion to enhance the health of the vines and soil.
The focus of Domaine Zuria is on indigenous Corsican grape varieties such as Sciacarellu and Vermentinu, alongside other forgotten varieties that help to enrich the estate’s blends. The vineyard aims to elevate the Bonifacio appellation by restoring its viticultural prestige while embracing a sustainable, forward-thinking approach to winemaking.
