Sylvie Augereau crafts exceptional natural wines from her small 1.5-hectare estate in Le Thoureil, Loire Valley. Producing just 3,000 bottles per vintage, her vineyards include classic varieties like Chenin and Cabernet Franc, alongside rarities such as Pineau d’Aunis and Grolleau. Following biodynamic principles, Sylvie uses Qvevri, Georgian amphoras, to macerate and vinify part of her wines, preserving ancestral methods.
Beyond winemaking, Sylvie is a leading figure in agronomy, a celebrated wine journalist, and the founder of La Dive Bouteille, a renowned natural wine festival. Together with her husband, Nicolas Réau, she brings passion and philosophy to every bottle, showcasing the Loire’s diverse terroir.
