Hautes Côtes de Beaune Mainbey

Maison Ex Nihilo is a confidential estate in the heart of the Côte d’Or, in Auxey-Duresses, run by Morgane and Alban Desazars. Morgane, a young winemaker from Champagne, daughter of Laurent Champs of Champagne Vilmart, works in the marketin department at Olivier Leflaive.

Alongside Alban, who grew up in the Loire Valley and provides wine-making services to winegrowers. They launched this project, signing their first vintage in 2023.

Using a non-interventionist winemaking approach, they offer precise and pure wines with a very pronounced minerality. The quantities are tiny but the care is absolute.
