Copin Pinot Noir 2021 comes from two distinct plots—Les Monts de Bruyères and La Porte des Grands Champs—within the Verzy vineyard. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, the signature grape of Verzy, it is aged entirely in oak. Full and intense, it features a delicate bitterness characteristic of Verzy’s Grand Cru. The chalky soils contribute a beautiful freshness, complemented by flavors of dried and stone fruits, as well as hints of orange peel and cumin. The result is a complex and unique profile, a true signature of Alban’s work in the great terroir of Verzy, where the energy of the land meets elegance.

Verzy - Montagne de Reims

Pierre Deville, located in the Grand Cru village of Verzy in the Montagne de Reims, has cultivated vines for four generations. Since 1963, the family has proudly produced Champagnes under their name. Today, Alban Corbeaux, the founder’s great-grandson, leads the domaine with a commitment to biodynamic farming and minimal intervention, ensuring respect for the terroir.

With 5 hectares exclusively in Verzy Grand Cru, the estate grows 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir. Alban represents a new generation of winemakers, blending family traditions with a modern touch to create exceptional Champagnes that honor Verzy’s unique heritage.
