Romain Henin

Romain Hénin is one of the new generation of Champagne growers to watch. After graduating in viticulture in Avize, he was trained for 2 years at Domaine Henri Giraud in Aÿ, growing his interest in organic and biodynamic principles. While working at the Hénin family estate, Romain gradually set up his own domaine of 3 hectares since 2016, with a successful conversion to revive the soils. Releasing the Gamin du Terroir with only 3000 bottles produced each vintage. Since 2022 Romain has fully converted his family vineyard to biodynamic culture, with a strong commitment to revamp it in its image, producing Champagne with no sulfur, allowing his wines to showcase their purity, soil expressions, and liveliness.
