A very prestigious appellation from Côte de Nuits. The Pinot Noir grapes are planted in a south-east exposure to ensure optimal ripening. After destemming, alcoholic fermentation takes place in open vats, with regular punching down and pumping over to extract colour and tannins. Ageing takes place in French oak barrels for 12 months.
