About Legrand-Latour

Son of Patrice Legrand, the passionate geologist who dug "La Cave au Coquillage," a beautiful shellfish cellar worth visiting while traveling in Champagne, Thibault Legrand-Latour is based in Fleury-la-Rivière, in the heart of the Marne Valley. Thibault returned to the estate in 2017 and first decided to convert the 4 hectares to biodynamic principles, which were certified in 2019. Mainly Pinot Meunier is found in the estate, complemented by Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. With his tremendous work in the vineyard, Thibault brings his identity and vision to life. Each cuvée brings together plots with identical geological soils. Thus, the cuvées are named after geological periods: Lutétien, Yprésien, or Éocène. The Champagnes are made without additives and are aged in an underground cellar also dug by Thibault's father. A particular feature is that the champagnes are drawn from the must of the following vintage, each cuvée having its own soil and terroir identity, offering a champagne expression like no other.
